I spent the last couple of weeks getting an enemy into my game, cave worms. Most of the time was spent on the graphic assets, from concept to final. Then there was the code and testing. It all went pretty smooth. They're nasty buggers that dig around underground, waiting for something to contact the dirt above. Then they leap or bite at whatever it is. They react to other creatures besides the player. The player can also throw rocks onto the dirt to distract them, which I added to the game this last Friday. The rocks can also be used as weapons if you throw them at a high enough velocity. I'll get visuals up for all this down the road on my bi-monthly web updates. Speaking of which, here's the link to this weeks update, which is a little bit on another enemy, Clods.
Thanks for your time.
