Let's Write Reader Reviews

I suggest that we who want this site to do well (including people who have games up on this site) spend more time writing reader reviews and comments for the games that the site carries, so that the site doesn't feel so empty. Independent game developers should play each other's games and give feedback to each other way more than they do, and this site could be a hub for that.

If a book or any other product on Amazon.com has 0 reader reviews, aren't you're less likely to take the risk of buying it? I personally never buy something until I've read what people who have bought it have to say about it. So an increase in the number of reader reviews and posts in each game's forum would probably increase sales and help the site out.

And a question: are we allowed to write a reader review solely based on playing the demo, rather than the full game?

There's certainly nothing to stop anyone from writing a review on the basis of the demo alone; if you feel you've gotten enough of the game in the demo to say something articulate about it, feel free. (But you might want to mention that, so readers can judge for themselves.)
