It's very nice to see Crimsonland on here. ;-) I had loads of fun playing the demo a couple years back and never got around to buying the full version since I was without an internet connection for a year. Perhaps I can buy it through here eventually.. some of the most addicting gameplay I've seen.

EDIT: Doh, I thought "Voice of the Masses" was some kind of shoutbox where anybody could post comments about the site... Didn't realize I was replying to this dude's blog entry (or whatever it is)... That "add a new comment" link is misleading!

Hmmm, that does appear confusing.

I've played until it gets tough...

after you're good enough it gets relaxing, and you can play it in your mind (no, really...and I don't have a problem, it everyone else that want's me to come out of my room ;-) during work, or when doing the dishes.

'Plasma Shotgun' is my favourite,
you'll need a gun with spray in the end, and you'll be relying on fire bullets...

I'd use Plasma Shotgun, with gauss shotgun as backup to get you as far as it can, random weapon yourself into getting the Jackhammer to replace the plasma shotgun near the end, it fires faster, whatever you need, you'll need to be pumping as many bullets into the air per second as possible... (get 'use 2 weapons' skill).

Gauss shotgun is the only good thing in the 'rough game' for taking down monsters without 'firebullets' activated.

If you run out of firebullets, immediately switch from jackhammer/pulsegun/plasma shotgun to your Gauss shotgun, which will at least allow you to kill a few before you timeslow wears off and you die...

With any luck you find another bonus that keeps you going, hopefully firebullets followed by timeslow...and of course some health.

Bear in mind that the highscores list shows the weapon used, this is the weapon used the most.
It doesn't state that they switched weapons halfway through...although you can keep going with gauss shotgun, and plama shotgun all the way through.

I have a lot of respect for anyone that uses the pulse gun all the way through, it can do the job alright, but it's by far the hardest of the 'non-suicidal' weapons to use, requires aiming to be effective.

Do all the quests on hard mode and you get a new gun at the end...the splitter gun.
