Sony's CFO reports substantial Q2 profits collapse in their games division (- EUR 289 million) citing "the game segment is weak" as reason.
Microsoft's CFO, on the other hand, reports a significant rise (+ EUR 340 million) for their gaming division citing XBox360, upon its peripherals, success as reason.

Sony's overall profits dropped by 90% (EUR 180 million drop) while MicroSoft's overall revenue has increasd by 11% and stands on EUR 8.5 million.
