Gee, this was a nifty game until it died. ;_;
I had chosen an ice cream at the shop after first examining all the varieties, when the game froze. I discovered the error dialog after using Alt-Ctrl-Delete & returning to my desktop. The log includes these errors:

Have fun! ;-)
MacGuges,
I've discovered the cause and will send a fixed build to Manifesto in a day or two. They'll probably need a couple days as well before it's posted.
This is bug exists only in the Windows version of the game and only in the Ice Cream puzzle. It does not affect any other part of the game.
Solving the ice cream puzzle is not necessary for completing the game. Solve the other puzzles in Chapter 3, and after three or four, the game will advance to chapter 4.
Thank Bill Folsom for alerting us to this forum. I'll keep an eye on it in case there further discussion of our games.
