A solid dungeon romp from SSI that's sadly forgotten,
Thunderscape focuses more on puzzles and exploration than on detailed statistics-- making it appealing to newbie RPGers and casual gamers than to die-hard veterans.
http://store.purplus.net/thunderscape.html currently sells it,
http://www.purplus.com/whole-reg-form.htm if you want to become a reseller of this product...
however they may be tempted into letting us offer it for download,
(Naturally it's in their best interests).
Have to find out if they're the ultimate decision makers .

Has info about it and screenshots etc
When I played it, the atmosphere was amazing.
It's a pleasure to play, with secrets, brooding mysteries, combat that makes you feel like a god...
and real-time ranged combat mixed with turn based once you get up close...
you run around in real-time and can shoot, it's delicious and fits the indie scene well because of when it was made...
If we don't find a way to share this with players...
noone will.
'Planescape Tourment'
is another game I want to see here...
mainly because it's sooo hard to find for the average person.
It's unique and screams 'indie'.
Even if you only get permission to link to a site where you can download it, or offer the demo it's easily a beautifully original game.
Well....
1. Excessively older product probably isn't going to do a lot for us, albeit I certainly hear you on the merits of Planescape Torment.
2. I asked Purplus for affiliate information; we do sell some games as affiliates of others. It's not our preferred mode, but we do it when necessary. I'm interested to see what their deal is, but as usual, of two minds about it: If it passes on enough of the consumer dollar to us to make it worth our while, it probably also passes on so little of the consumer dollar to the developer as to make it pretty damn marginal for them. Which doesn't make us happy.
3. But it doesn't hurt to look.
I'd just like to add that unless the price is excessive, you'll be getting a lot of game for your money with Thunderscape. The S.O. and I have it and have tried it a few times, and each time we end up giving up before finishing it. It's freakin' huge.
