PomPom Games- Mutant Storm and SpaceTripper

There's a company called PomPom that makes a couple of arcade space-shooter type games. Mutant Storm is a keyboard-and-mouse driven Robotron clone; SpaceTripper eschews the mouse for a product that's more like Defender. Thery're both pretty technically impressive and solid gameplay-wise (I prefer SpaceTripper, but that's just me).

I'm guessing that you've already been in touch with the producers (or at least know about the games) given that one of your reviews mentions Mutant Storm, but I thought it was worth mentioning in case they slipped through the cracks somehow.

I would love to see Mutant Storm here. I've been meaning to pick that up for a while now, and it'll be on my immediate download list if you guys add it to the store.

I heard that Mutant Storm wasn't as good as Bullet Candy, which is already available on this site.

But then i would have heard that ;)

ah, charlie, BC is such a beautiful game,
but it's too different to compare to MS, I think.

I would have bought BC two minutes after playing the demo--
but my compy-chan is unfortunately weak and decided to crash on me.

It'll be the first game to go on my next computer, I promise!

Try running the game using directX rendering, you may find that it doesn't crash then. either way it looks like i need to fix a bug there ;D
