It seems that my staking vampires (and vampresses) with wild abandon was not such a good idea. I figured that the game wouldn't allow me to do anything that would lead me to an impasse, but I should have been a bit smarter about staking the vampress seeking a ghost.
Now, I have a ghost looking for a home, but no vampress to take him in. Is there any way around this?
Thanks.
@daddyo: You're fine. The ghost for a vampress quest is an optional one; you don't need to complete it to finish the game. You only lost a monetary reward, but you should have plenty of money by the time you have the ghost. It's just a choice between gold desperately needed in the early game, or gold and the feeling of accomplishment later.
Just enjoy your ghost-friend, and ignore the journal entry. :)

That's good news... although the vampress was my excuse for being stuck. Guess I better get back to finding the sleeping dust.
I appreciate the help (and what a quick response!)
You're welcome. :)
Happy adventuring.

yes, but you would have gotten 20,000 gold for it, or you could have given the statue to the squrilles and gotten dynamite to blow up cracks in the wall, and there is a cash cow goodeie 2 get unlimited gold, for wich u may want yo consider the next time u play aveyond w/ a new file. go 2 the squrills hideout 4 sleepin dust.
