Almost two months ago, I started a blog where I post one new game idea or game design per week (it's usually up by Tuesday every week.) It's called "Steal My Game Designs" and it can be found at:
http://stealmygamedesigns.blogspot.com
This forum is the first public place I've ever posted its URL. It seemed fitting, as this site seems to be dedicated to publishing games with oddball ideas. Well, I try to come up with an original idea every week. Some seem more mainstream than others. (The other reason this is the first place I've ever announced my blog is that I was waiting until I had a reasonable amount of content up.)
Anyway, if you're a small/indie game developer, and you're trying to come up with an idea for your next game, check it out. I'm especially proud of "Death: A day in the life of the Grim Reaper". It seems like it could be a fun game with lots of dark humor in the same vein as shows like "Dead Like Me" and "Six Feet Under", although it would probably be more violent.
I know that on some forums, posting a link to your blog is considered spam... Well, I won't post about my blog again (unless someone asks for it) and anyway, I don't have any ads up, so I'm not getting any money from it.
In fact, I'm hoping that someone will like one of my ideas and pay me to write a proper game design doc based on the initial concept I posted.
And, just so nobody here starts thinking that I'm just a young kid who hopes his lame game ideas get turned into games, well, I've got about 5 years of experience in the "industry". I worked for 2 years at a publisher and developer of PC games, another 6 months at another PC and Console game publisher and developer, and then I worked for more than two years at a Mobile Entertainment company, testing, then later designing and producing many games.
If anyone else wants to put up their game ideas, go ahead and use this thread, maybe some indie developer will see it and make your game!
It's a nice idea for a site, and there are some great nuggets in there.
I certainly don't consider this spam...!

I will keep an eye on it, naturally you should update it very often :-)
Thanks.
I try to update before the end of the day on Mondays. If I have something special to bring up about game design, I sometimes post at other times during the week. This has happened twice already, most notably when I reacted to some discussion about episodic games I read on the Penny-Arcade forums:
http://stealmygamedesigns.blogspot.com/2006/07/concerning-episodic-content.html
I now realize that the subject could be of particular interest to indie developers such as the ones here at Manifesto Games. Indie games tend to have a harder time generating enough content (including artwork, music, story or actual gameplay) than so-called AAA titles. Going episodic in that case can mean the possibility of releasing the initial game earlier, and then generating more content as time goes by. This also means a steadier income, and less risk, in the case where the pilot episode is a "flop".
Steal my Game Designs to make your own games!

I'd like to see some story tidbits, weapon designs, monster designs (stealale of course).
e.g. weapon design:
"A gun who shoots slugs, which then attack nearby enemies until killed, they get bigger for every bit they take and will eventually turn on you if they survive long enough"
etc...
You said:

Perhaps the other content would be useful, as well as the macro game designs, if anyone feels like making it stealable.
