Blogs

I know that it is day 1 but I was wondering if I start a blog who will see it? Also how can I see other member's blogs? I was just wondering what your plans were to tie this all together. Are there any community websites that you like the model of?

Meadowlark: Basically, blog functionality exists on the site at the moment largely because it comes free with Drupal, and was easy to include, so why not include it. I agree that the way it functions at present is far from optimal, and I'd like to make it more useable over time.

at present, about the only way someone will see it is if they click on your name somewhere else (a forum post, say) and then click on the link to your blog.

But I'm interested in your thoughts as to how to make this more useful, and integrate it into a more social networking style of environment.
