Spiderweb makes excellent games

Very large, scope, interesting plots, nice use of consequences of how you act towards people affecting later gameplay.

Geneforge is not the typical hack and slash RPG, it's more boundary crossing than that. Recommended.

I agree.
While I would not typically play such games, the lore be exquisite and quite luring.
The RPG element been obviously well thought-out and there be plenty of paths to go as you be tweaking your stats along.
