It's a little strange that I have to go to a drop-down to pick major genres like "adventure". That one at least should be in the main list. In the account section there's an option that says something about "Block Configuration" - "Execute PHP". I have a feeling it shouldn't be there, but if so it needs some explanation of what it does. In the forum list there's a typo, Make _you_ voice heard instead of _your_. At first I thought the stars above the search box were for some sort of rating system (they beg to be clicked, I think because they're transparent). Sub-genre lists should be easily accessible when you're in the main genre list (maybe a second bar under the main genre bar). It does seem a little user-unfriendly to require a login for demo downloading. But still very impressive for a beta launch!

I agree, and I think it is very confusing to have only some of the categories in the main menu. It took a while before I relaized that I had to use the drop-down thing to find RTS games. And the drop-down seems a bit bloated when it shows all those categories and even sub-categories.

Perhaps the categories shown in that title bar could be random? I don't like the idea of giving some genres preference over other genres.

Basically, there isn't room for all of our genres.. you may notice that I added "adventure" (removing Arcadia, only because it doesn't seem to have attracted a lot of traffic).

We selected the genres to appear on the title bar initially purely on the basis of what genres we had the most titles in. It's also fairly trivial for me to change what shows up there on a regular basis, which we'll probably do.

The one thing I do want changed is to replace "all" on the drop down with "more"... Just to make it clear what it's for.

Also, I think we'll want to establish URL aliases for the genre pages, so that, say, if you're just interested in adventure games you can go to www.manifestogames.com/adventure. But won't happen instantly.
